Once a piece of equipment has been registered with the MDM, the following information about the computer is automatically uploaded to the platform: make, model, year, serial number, as well as certain technical specifications such as RAM or SSD storage.

Some information may not be transmitted automatically. This is particularly the case if it's an older model of PC or MacBook. More rarely, RAM or storage may be incorrect.

Keyboard language is not information retrieved or transmitted by the MDM.

All this information can be modified manually for each computer.

To do this, go to the Fleet page to edit the information on a device (keyboard language, RAM, storage, processor, etc.).

⚠️ If the computer is enrolled in an MDM, manually modified technical specifications (memory, storage and processor) will override the information transmitted by the MDM during future synchronizations. This is particularly useful if the information is imprecise or incorrect.
