From the outset, KillBills has been committed to simpler, greener and more human IT, changing our outdated vision of the sales receipt and making it digital. No more need for paper printouts, the purchase history is transferred directly to the banking area. A greener, more responsible solution that simplifies financial management.
The company, which now employs around ten people, has been looking for a way to manage and optimize its IT assets since its first recruitments.
Founder Basile is in charge of IT, managing on/offboarding, cybersecurity and the ongoing management of their IT fleet.
KillBills was one of the very first startups to place its trust in rzilient. A few years later, the collaboration continues with the same spirit: a reliable, human solution aligned with the challenges of a tech team in full structuring.
Sid-Ahmed, co-founder of the company, looks back on the beginnings, developments and concrete benefits of this relationship of trust.

Equipping a company while respecting its constraints
From the outset, two imperatives guided KillBills' choices:
- Low-cost equipment: an affordable solution, without massive investment.
- Respect their CSR commitments: work with partners who share their environmental values.
"When we started recruiting, we needed professional computers. Buying new? Unthinkable: too expensive and contrary to our convictions."
The natural choice was leasing equipment, and the founding duo discovered rzilient.
"rzilient ticked all the boxes: a human-sized company with a real commitment to CSR. Refurbished Macs, a simpler approach than the competition. It was a no-brainer."
Ultra-fluid onboarding, with no mental burden
Since then, KillBills has equipped itself exclusively via rzilient. Every time we onboard, the procedure is the same: one message, the choice of a template, and everything is taken care of.
"I just say, 'We've got a new recruit on such-and-such a day', and I know everything will be ready. The computer arrives configured, with the right tools installed. We inform the person, they get their Mac, they log in... and they start working, without friction."
This fluidity changes everything for a tech team that wants to focus on its product.
"Before rzilient, we did everything by hand. Today, we've reduced the time spent on each onboarding by 30%. These are hours we're reinvesting in development, not logistics."
Even offboarding is managed simply and securely. rzilient takes care of the return of the equipment, while guaranteeing data erasure.
Cybersecurity without complexity
KillBills operates in a sensitive sector: payments, digital receipts and user data. For them, cybersecurity is a priority.
"We work with banks, so the subject was never secondary. Our workstations had to be secure from day one."
Initially managed in-house, workstation protection is now integrated into the rzilient solution.
"You offer a simple, complete package. Antivirus, encryption, network protection... everything is ready on arrival. A real time-saver."
At the same time, KillBills knows that cybersecurity also means raising awareness internally. In fact, it has a lead tech on its teams who runs monthly phishing campaigns, and the teams receive regular training to maintain this culture of cybersecurity.
And it works: our teams know how to identify risks, and we keep a high level of alert.
More durable equipment, a more human relationship
Beyond the technical aspects, what Sid-Ahmed remembers most about working with rzilient is the human aspect.
"I remember a moment when you delivered the computers in person. It's rare to have that direct link with a supplier. You're not just a platform, you're a team that listens, advises, and evolves with its customers."
For KillBills, the fact that the hardware is refurbished extends its lifespan while guaranteeing a good level of performance for developers.
"We're happy to equip our team with Macs, and even happier when we know that this equipment will have a second life after us. It gives meaning to our choices, beyond simple financial logic."
An IT partner you can count on
Simplicity, efficiency, reliability. This is what KillBills expects from its IT management, and what rzilient has been providing for over 4 years.
"You've grown, we've grown. But the spirit remains the same. You're good, you're approachable, and you continue to save us time."
