Rzilient receives the Responsible Digital Label
A look back at the news that has been lulling us to sleep over the past few months... Rzilient has been awarded the Responsible Digital Label in April 2022!
The concretization of a project led for nearly a year by the whole team, we are extremely proud to be awarded this certification, legitimizing our approach.
Since Responsible Digital (RD) is part of our DNA, and this, since the beginning of Rzilient, we retrace here all the path we have taken.
In the saddle Marcel.
The NR Label
With a reference framework built by experts from Green iT - TheInstitute of Responsible Digital, in partnership with the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition,Ademe and WWF - the NR label is based on 5 axes and 14 principles of action of NR, specifically:
- Strategy and governance
- Support for the NR strategy
- Digital Service Lifecycle
- Expand your NR approach
- Products and services of Digital Service Companies (DSC)
Formerly two different labels, Numérique Responsable and Entreprises Numérique Responsable have been assembled in an effort to achieve uniqueness and coherence to give birth to a single label federating the actors of the subject.
The certification process is now managed by the LUCIE Agency, the audit is carried out by SGS, Bureau Veritas or Baker Tilly STREGO, and finally the decision to award the label is made by an independent certification committee. This tripartite organization attests to the seriousness and rigor of the certification process, and supports our approach as solid and relevant.
The different stages of certification
The certification process takes time. It is necessary to designate a specific person to coordinate the certification project internally. Indeed, all the work to be done to centralize the information and supporting documents necessary to meet the standards - from the self-assessment to the drafting of commitments - is significant.
We entered the process in July 2021, and started with a preparation phase with a 3-day training on the challenges and good practices of Digital Responsibility with the Lucie training center.
We then proceeded to the self-assessment stage by studying the various principles of action of the NR standard and were then audited by Bureau Veritas to verify the consistency and feasibility of these various approaches within Rzilient.
Finally, we have drafted our progress commitments and carried out an action plan, the label being based on a continuous improvement approach.
What does this mean for Rzilient?
After working on the project for almost a year, this labeling legitimizes our positioning as an ESN serving the democratization of green IT: we do everything we can to help organizations simplify and make their IT management more sustainable, to extend the life of their equipment, while optimizing our own digital footprint.
Especially in light of our external value proposition, we must be exemplary internally.
What's next?
Obtaining the label is only the beginning - the NR is a logical, continuous improvement process and a philosophy in which we wish to inscribe our reason for being.
On a day-to-day basis, our commitment to a circular digital environment involves both:
- by sustainable management of our iT internally,
- and by constantly improving our products and services to help our customers achieve more efficient and sustainable iT management.
Conclusion & thanks
Thanks to Agence Lucie for their support and expertise, and congratulations to the whole Rzilient team! This is only the beginning!
Think of us to accompany you in your own Green iT process!
