At Rzilient, we are working on a tool: theiT Room, a future feature on our platform.
The iT Room: as if you had an in-house computer troubleshooting expert
The operation of our tool is simple: thanks to our application, we will retrieve data from our customers' devices remotely and in real time.
We analyze and work on this raw data, in order to be able to extract useful information to anticipate and carry out computer troubleshooting operations.
And With the iT Room, you have almost nothing to do, because we install our application via your MDM, and let's carry out the work of monitoring your computer equipment for you.
As a customer, you can also create rules in the tool that are specific to you and your needs.
An example of a rule? Battery monitoring, in order to set a trigger threshold (% of battery health) generating a maintenance or replacement operation.
These rules can trigger alerts in order to anticipate preventive maintenance operations.
The result is brilliant: we identify the failure before it even happens. Your employee is therefore under no stress!
These alerts will prevent you from making digital waste and will allow you to enter into an even greener iT approach. 🌱
Here are the main components of your computers that we can monitor the status of, and for which we can anticipate a problem:
- Battery,
- CPU,
- RAM,
- Hard disk space used.
We are also calculating the number of days since the last connection to a computer network, and will incorporate other metrics into this existing list.
Examples of computer failures or problems taken care of
The iT Room detects the date of the last connection to a computer network.
Why is it interesting to know that a computer has not been connected to a network for several months?
This allows your office manager to assign these machines to newcomers, or to value them and at the same time free up cash!
The tool also detects when a computer is slow. 🔍
This allows you to replace this computer with another machine in your stock, or to offer an exchange with another collaborator, who would less need a fast machine for his work.
In fact, thanks to the iT Room, we end up knowing the type of use of collaborators and we can optimize the RAM necessary for each one, according to their use.
We can also analyze a malfunction remotely, but also perform a diagnosis on how the computer is used to optimize it.
The iT Room is looking for partners!
For a small business or SME that does not have very advanced IT skills, the iT Room represents a real outsourcing of computer equipment monitoring, making it possible to identify optimizations and prevent breakdowns.
Note that the feature is still under development and deployment. We are looking for partners who would like to work with us on finalizing this feature!
Our ultimate objective: to interface iT Room to a network of professional partners, using APIs, in order to trigger maintenance or hardware replacement operations.
For example, when the battery of one of our customers is below 65%, its replacement would be offered to the customer directly in our tool, with a budget proposal and a list of partners who can take care of the battery replacement operation.
These alerts would make it possible to make numerical recommendations to the IT asset manager. You could thus know how much it costs in the long term and collect personalized information to optimize your IT management in a green and sustainable way.
In the future, we want to extend our solution to proactive troubleshooting that will allow you to revalue your stock and avoid having, for example, inactive machines. The iT Room will advise you based on your own rules and settings that you want to add.
