Ykone renews its IT asset management with Rzilient

Since its creation in 2008, Ykone - an agency specialized in influencer marketing - has been supporting its 100+ clients (Nespresso, Estée Lauder, Clarins, LVMH, Chopard...) in the creation and dissemination of content on a local or international level.

Ykone trusts Rzilient since 2022 to simplify, secure and automate their IT management. We have supported their teams by combining Zero Touch configuration and customized workstations for their employees on the French and Swiss markets.

Zero Touch and fully industrialized implementation

When Myra, Office Manager at Ykone, decided to turn to Rzilient, one of the company's main concerns was to ensure that all employees had access to the internet from the new premises they had recently moved into. Rzilient was able to facilitate the installation of the network and to guarantee internet access on site. 

A second priority for Ykone's teams was to have access to high-performance MAC workstations with customized settings. To a lesser extent, the objective was also to limit the loss of efficiency and time on onboarding and provisioning issues.

Together, we determined a plan of attack to drive this project from start to finish: the goal was to deploy a Zero Touch provisioning device for users so that, as soon as they received their workstations, they could connect to the Internet and have their profile/session automatically installed without any action on their part.

With its expertise on the subject, and after having purchased the machines, our team proceeded to the creation of the Apple Business Manager (ABM) spaces. It was a delegated management for Ykone. The whole fleet was then enrolled in the MDM Workspace ONE environment. Finally, an in-depth work was carried out to define the user profiles and thus the configuration of the machines.

Simplified and customized deployment

Once everything was set up, the machines were delivered without distinction of end-users, and then each employee was able, with the help of a guide created beforehand, to launch the installation procedure and access workstations set up for their specific business needs - all in less than 5 minutes.

It should also be noted that, for security reasons, users were asked to change the generic password assigned to them when they first connected. Finally, following the preparation of the machines, during the first connection, the disk is encrypted using FileVault.

An effective and promising operation

The operational success of this first project, which concerned a customer base of 30 stations, allowed Ykone to validate the interest of this approach and to consider its extension to new territories.
