After having founded and developed Alter Eco, a pioneering fair trade and organic company in France, Tristan Lecomte founded PUR Projet in 2008. This organization, fighting against climate change and deforestation, supports cooperatives and farmers around the world. PUR Projet develops and implements projects to engage companies in the integration of climate issues into their value chain in order to regenerate, energize and preserve the ecosystems on which they depend (Insetting).
Challenges to engage in digital responsibility
To achieve its mission, PUR Projet positions digital sobriety as a key element in its growth strategy. In this context, the company relies on a fleet of mobile workstations equipped with various software (Google Suite, Office, internal communication software). It is in this context that the iT team of PUR Projet contacted Rzilient to present its needs and to study a possible collaboration.
The scope of the project concerned the management of a heterogeneous computer park of about a hundred mobile workstations to manage. In concrete terms, the first step was to propose Reconditioned laptops and Macbooks compatible with the needs of each employee and to provide them on a turnkey basis: pre-configured, secure and directly accessible.
The green iT solutions implemented
Through the catalog accessible on the Rzilient platform, each employee can choose his or her iT equipment during onboarding or when renewing equipment.
In order to extend the life of the equipment, Rzilient also provides IT support and help to the users. In addition to the computer support platform, Rzilient also offers e-mail and telephone support to ensure a human expertise, adapted to the specific needs of PUR Projet, remotely or on site. Rzilient also assists the teams, managers and employees, in their IT logistics, especially in matters related to telecommuting or the opening of new offices.
And to complete a 360 service, Rzilient provides indicators on the carbon footprint of the fleet used, to extract various extra-financial reports via their platform.
This pragmatic approach, which combines the quality of the refurbished equipment supplied, the SaaS platform for fleet management, green iT and attractive pricing, were key elements that led PUR Projet to work quickly with the Rzilient teams.

In production since April 2021, this modern outsourcing project is an operational success, due to its simplicity and its lasting impact on the entire organization.

After this first success and the satisfaction of its teams with the support services provided, the company is currently working on new projects with Rzilient, in the management of its office infrastructures in Wifi, the cabling of its iT installations, but above all in the support of new equipment and the expansion of the collaboration to new territories.
